Professor Anthonia Sowunmi, MBBS, FWACS, FMCR, Nigeria’s first female Associate Professor of Radiation and Clinical Oncology at the University of Lagos and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). Professor Sowunmi specializes in breast and cervical cancer treatment and is a leading advocate for modern radiotherapy in West Africa. She is recognised for her contributions to oncology training and improving cancer survival outcomes across the region.
